Hiking at Happy Jack
It was such a nice day yesterday that we ended it with a hike and dinner in the mountains-
At one point we took a side trail, as we were in a grove of trees I noticed that Addison had a spider with a big butt on her shoulder, she was in the backpack so I knew that Trent couldn't help me. First, I screamed really loud then I stared to shake and breath really hard and I flick the spider away- I was very scared!! It was then that we decided that we should turn back to the main trail. I had crawlies the rest of the night.

Congrats Ethan- NO more training wheels!
The last month or so, we noticed Ethan's training wheels rarely touched the ground. Today, we took them off and gave him a push, this video is exactly what happened. He just took off! At the end of the video he wrecks but jumps up and shouts back, "I'm okay!" It was pretty funny.
After some practice in the alley, we went for a bike ride around the neighborhood, a little over a mile total. He loves his new freedom and keeps reminding us how much faster he is without his training wheels.

So much poop'n fun
Today is so wonderfully warm- it made it up to 74 degrees and we are loveing it. The kids just got done playing in the water and Addison is taking a nap so I thought I would share the pictures that I took.
We would still be out there but I noticed that Addison had "mud" on her butt- oh it not mud it is poop. We were playing in our own pool so I thought she will be ok I dont need to put a swimmer on her and she has already pooped today. Well it was a pretty easy clean up- thank goodness.

BBQ Soup
The other day we had BBQ chicken for dinner, Addison wanted BBQ sauce so we gave her some. Instead of dipping her chicken in it she spooned it like soup. I ran to get my camera but was to late, I did catch the tail end she is "all done"
Ethan washing the dishes
Ethan always wants to do the dishes- so on Sunday we let him give it a try - he did pretty good- he only broke one glass.

A Baby or a Cat
When I was younger I loved to carry around a stray cat. I carried this cat everywhere, my mom tells me that I was the only one that the cat would let carry it. Here I am with my sister- holding the cat.
Well after I woke up from my Sunday afternoon nap I discovered that Addison is a little Valerie. Trent and the kids were over at a neighbors house, they have a cat and all Addison wanted to do was hold the cat. This cat had kittens a while back. They got the kittens out and Addison went straight for the babies, as she was holding one it scratched her in hopes to get away, but it didn't work as soon as it got loose she was chasing it down trying to catch it again.
She also want the kitten wrapped up like a baby. So Trent found a jacket and wrapped the cat up for her. All I can say is that I am glad that our neighbors have animals for our children to play with :)
Don't you LOVE that smile!!!
