Sick--- tired and READY

Well, with only ten days left I am SO ready to have this baby! A day or so after going to the Doctor last week I developed a sinus infecting so I was very anxious to go to the Doctor today to ask for a prescription, I told him my symptoms and ended with "I KNOW that this is a sinus infection and I want to be better before this baby comes." I was secretly hoping for a bottle of amoxicilion (i dont know the spelling), but he does even better and gives me a Z-pack- YEAH. I am looking forward to feeling much better in the days to come. The second thing I want to talk to my doctor about are these crazy leg cramps that I am getting every night, in fact my legs are so sore and fatigued that they feel heavy to even drag into the next room. I did not experience leg cramps with my other pregnancies so I was a bit concerned. After he looks over my legs he decides that I should go get an ultrasound on my leg to make sure that it is not a blood clot- are you kidding me. I try to talk him out of it saying that I am sure that it is nothing, and he agrees that it might not be anything but thinks it is the best to rule out a blood clot. I went in at 1:30 and there is no blood clot- Yeah again!!! I did not talk to my doctor about this one but I am going to share another first with this pregnancy- HEART BURN. In fact I have never had heart burn EVER before. And it better not stick around after she is delivered. And I have only had it for about a two weeks- however, I do not enjoy it and it seems to be getting worse. Did I mention that I am READY to have this baby so that I can walk around my house without sharp pains in my crotch and hips, stop the leg cramps and the fatigue and heavy legs, eat with out dreading the burning sensation in my chest, and so I can hold our new baby girl. Thanks for reading :)

I'll wash your mouth out with soap.

I don't know about you but when I was little my mom would warn me with the "I'll wash your mouth out with soap" scare tactic. And it worked... most of the time... I do remember a few different times I tasted soap. So it would seem appropriate that I should use the same scare tactic with my own children... right? Well, Addison seems to be putting everything in her mouth lately... and I mean EVERYTHING. I tell her "take that out... you are getting germs everywhere." Well for some reason today I walk into the room and she has her socks in her mouth and what comes out of my mouth. "The next time you have something in your mouth that is not food, "I'll wash your mouth out with soap." Did I mean it... No, I hated my mouth being washed out with soap... although I might have to later down the road but not for this situation-he he. Then I go about my business. The next thing I know Addison is in the bathroom, I thought to myself is she doing it to herself??? Sure enough, my very obedient ( i use that word loosely) is standing in the bathroom pumping soap into her hand. I asked her what she was going to do with it and she says "my mouth" and I try to explain... you don't put soap in you mouth it is VERY yucky. I made sure that she washed her hands and she went on her merry way. What a funny girl, it seems to me that she chooses to listen and obey at the most interesting times. I did however find the situation so funny that I had to call Trent at work to share. Don't you wish your kids would wash out their own mouth out with soap if needed???

Highlight of my day-

Well Addison has had a pretty runny nose the past couple days, so Trent and I agreed that she should not go to nursery today. We had a few things going on like: Ethan was giving the talk in primary, I was teaching the youth Sunday School class and Trent was teaching the dads- as Ethan puts it or Elders Quorum. So we would all go to sacrament and then Trent would help Ethan with his talk and have Addison during Sunday School and then I would just bring her home the last hour. We had it all worked out, right? Well sacrament was just getting into the full swing of people baring their testimonies, and Addison started to kinda cough with a Ritz cracker in her mouth, like a piece had gone down the wrong tube. She kept coughing and then started gaging - she gags really easy- the next thing I know my hands are full of throw up (Ritz crackers and snot) and it starts leaking onto my skirt so I hurry and pick her up we make it to the drinking fountain and she throws up again. Poor thing. We get things cleaned up and I take Addison home, after all I had throw up ALL over me. So everything was left up to Trent. He hurried and helped Ethan with his talk then he dashed to Sunday School to teach my lesson. Then finish off my giving his own lesson. I am so thankful that he was so willing to teach my class. And Addison has been doing just fine. I hope that this incident didn't make anyone else puke. It is never dull at with the Bauers.
