The entire month of July in one post-

Forth of July
The morning of the Forth of July I found this on my bedroom door.

Ethan wanted me to remember that he loved me while he was going to go fishing
and I would be home alone with Kallie.

Casting, casting, and more casting.

They have a kids pond here that they stock with fish and anyone 13 years and younger can fish free. So Trent took Ethan and Addison.

Addison LOVES worms, this is one that we got out of our garden. But most of the time we have pet worms at our house and She is not afraid to hold them.

They finally caught a fish- here Addison is tiring to catch it- silly girl.

She always has to check things out- and as you can see- she is not afraid of the fish.

Proud Ethan- This is the first fish he has ever caught.

time to run off a little energy

More fishing-

This picture does not give justice to the storm that was approaching- It was nice to have an overcast sky so that we could play at the park but by late afternoon- the rain was pouring. We wondered if there were going to fireworks or not, so we ventured out at about 9:30. The show was about 10 minutes long- hummm, interesting. When I think of fireworks and Wyoming I think big illegal ones- how about anyone else? Well here in good old Laramie, sparklers are even illegal. So this is the extent of pictures for our cold and wet forth of July

Kallie turns 4 months

This is the group shot- no one was cooperating :(

She LOVES her fingers and can be found sucking on them most of the day.
I just love these pictures.

She is a very happy baby

Kallie's First Food

She loved her rice cereal that night.
Ever since then she does ok but not as good as that first night. But I have noticed she eats better at meal time when everyone else is eating... except mom that is.

The Sliver
One morning Addison had Trent get this sliver out of her foot, when he asked her where she got it she told him on Meaghan's stage. Meaghan does not have a stage but she does have a back porch so I am guess that is where she got it... unless there is something that Meaghan is not telling me???

When Ethan takes pictures

you never know what you are going to get for example...

EXPLOSION
We were all ready to go on our bike ride, so I grabbed Kallie to get her dressed and this is what I found...

I swear there was a cup of poop there. She must have caught air when it came out with such powerful force. I was amazed. FYI: the pacifier has been sterilized :)
Garden Despite the fact that it has been pretty cool this year our garden has done REALLY well.

we are getting our first broccoli If any ones needs salad give us a call we have plenty!!! we actually have carrots this year, last year we got 4.

Our first harvest of zucchini, they are only bout 3-4 inches long but that is the way that I like them.
Cleaning the Yard

We had a pile of cans that I had just taken off our plants and I asked Ethan if he would put them in the garage so that I could mow the lawn- and this is how he moved them- i thought it was so funny I had to take a picture.

Kallie does not like the weed eater or the lawn mower I found out. I put her in the Kelty so that I could get things done, well I could not bare to hear the poor cry- I do not have the right words to explain the noise and the terror that she must have felt but I do know that I stopped right away- yikes for now on the lawn is done at nap time or it doesn't get done.
And now you know a bit of what we did this month.

Joey

For the past little while as we brush Addison's teeth at we have been trying to catch all of the jumping germs- they jump all over the place :) and through out the "session" one by one they will jump out of her mouth. Well about a week ago she decided that she wanted to name her germ- Joey. I thought nothing of it but the germ has been named Joey for the pass week and he keeps showing up in her mouth and we have to make him jump out every night. This has really help the nightly ritual of teeth brushing which is not ever an easy task. I sure hope that Joey sticks around for a while. He has really helped us out.
