Memories

Here are the directions: 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.
It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I remember getting lots of little bits of shredded paper to put in Chris' Mustang. Boy, was he mad - and he probably still is.

(I just shared this memory with Bridget tonight, so it's on my mind.)

I also remember you yelling a certain phrase (that I will not repeat here) at the top of your lungs in our apartment occassionally. I always found it humorous, even though you were really in pain - sorry.

Wow there are to many memories to pick just one. I would have to say one of my favorite was not just any day, but having you as my last teaching partner at Head Start. What a great teacher you were and an amazing friendship that we developed because of teaching together.

Also all our late scrapbooking nights, especially the Mesquite trip! Oh how I miss those. I don't get nearly enough scrapbooking done since we have been apart!

I could go on and on, but I will stop there.

I remember that you had an amazing ability to tell the temperature just by looking out the window. I still can't do that.

I also remember the fuzzy phone we had in our apartment.

I remember that you would occasionally say some pretty shocking things in mixed company. I can't remember anything specific, and I wish I could remember what Sarah is referring to.

Sarah forgot to mention that it was also shredded staples. I think that was by far the worst part. I hope he is over it by now.

By the way, please invite me.

One Sunday afternoon, My sis and I were calmly walking down the halls of the church when around the corner came a couple of bandits (you and Sarah) shooting everything in sight (ok I'm exagerating a little) and Val and I fall dead to the floor (in our dresses I believe). Yeah that is a great memory. Hey by the way, I am going private too so e-mail me if you want an invite. I sure want an invite to yours. chalisev@yahoo.com

I like the time when you (Valerie) gave us a loaf of bread, I think because we brought you dinner, and it was so yummy.
I also remember a time that I was sitting in the Relief Society room with you at the married student stake center and we were talking about Mike's health problems and your dad and you got emotional recounting what your dad had been through. I thought that was so sweet.
And on a lighter note, Mike remembers Trent always accusing him of having hysterical pregnancy! :)
