We have gone to Hail!!!

Last night we had a HORRIBLE hail storm.
I am so bummed. I think what makes me so sad is that I just started to warm up and enjoy the nice weather- The high temperature today- the day after the hail storm is 57, yes you read that right. And I have had the hardest time moving today because I am SO cold! Our house temperature has reached a whopping 65 degrees, but I am not going to turn on the heater because I am cheap and don't want to pay for the gas.
This morning Trent told me that I will want to take pictures of the garden to post on my blog to show the destruction of the hail. Well here they are:
These two pictures were are pumpkin plants, and now that the weather is going down hill I am sure that we will not get any pumpkins off it.
From left to right: Jalapenos, beets and green peppers, only those plants closes to the sidewalk were damaged so I am sure that these guys will be ok, but they don't look to good. And the red thing you see is a toy.

This was a zucchini plant, I am hopping that despite the damage it will continue to put forth. There were several small zucchini so please keep your finger crossed!

These were potato plants- its a good thing they grow under ground, I was just shocked at how beat up the leaves were, now they are bare stems.

Our tomatoes and corn plants do not look to bad- surprisingly. We are yet to get a tomato so I am hopping that it warms up enough to enjoy at least one vine ripened tomato because those are the BEST!
