Last night we had a HORRIBLE hail storm.
This morning Trent told me that I will want to take pictures of the garden to post on my blog to show the destruction of the hail. Well here they are:
From left to right: Jalapenos, beets and green peppers, only those plants closes to the sidewalk were damaged so I am sure that these guys will be ok, but they don't look to good. And the red thing you see is a toy.
This was a zucchini plant, I am hopping that despite the damage it will continue to put forth. There were several small zucchini so please keep your finger crossed!
These were potato plants- its a good thing they grow under ground, I was just shocked at how beat up the leaves were, now they are bare stems.
Our tomatoes and corn plants do not look to bad- surprisingly. We are yet to get a tomato so I am hopping that it warms up enough to enjoy at least one vine ripened tomato because those are the BEST!

How sad, the weather has been so crazy this year. I hope your garden pulls through.
Your garden looks really good...despite the storm!
So sad to see your garden. I hate it when you work so hard on something and mother nature destroys it! Hopefully not all was lost!
Ok, Valerie. Blogging question, how do you get your blog friends to update like that when they update their blog.. did that make sense? I love that feature!
By the way, you always have the cutest background and blog!
