3 weeks old

Kallie is three weeks old today and here are a few pictures that I took,

(mostly to update my mom on how much she has grown)

She LOVES to eat, I feel like that is all she does.

I am still trying to get her days and nights in the right order.

Her neck has gotten a lot stronger and can hold her head up on her own for quite a while

She was weighed yesterday and was 8 lbs and 2 oz- and 21 inches long. She was also measured as 21 inches long at her 2 week checkup so she either grew 2 inches in 2 weeks or she wasn't measured quite right at birth.

These family pictures were take on Sunday March 22, after church. Both my parents and my brother, Matt and his family and Trent's parents were able to make it so we blessed Kallie. Thanks so much for coming to support us!!!

Kallie is two and a half weeks old.

The great escape

This happened on Saturday the 21. We had gone out an outing and where returning home. Addison wanted out and Her straps on her car seat were not as tight as they should have been as a consequence this is what happened... she cried the whole way home.

Baby Chicks

My friend Meaghan bought a few baby chicks over to our house about a week ago so that Ethan and Addison could hold them. They loved it!!! Ethan was pretty paranoid that Addison was going to squeeze one to death. It was so fun to watch them interact with them.

Your only a kid once

The sun was actually shining today so I had the kids suit up and go out side to play. Ethan had been out for about a half hour before Addison made it out. I knew that Ethan was playing in the down spout but I had no idea that he was making mud. When Addison did go out the first thing I heard Ethan say to her was "I'm making mud, want to help" what child would turn that down?

Inside my head I thought "well they are only a kids once" so I didn't say anything.

But as soon as I heard that back door open I ran back to make sure that the mud didn't make it into the house. It look like they had a pretty good time, I was just grateful that it kept them busy for awhile :)

A week old

Today Kallie is a week old.

This week went by both fast and slow.

She kinda has her nights and days mixed up.

She loves to do the three this all newborns like to do:

Eat, Poop and Sleep.

And she smiles all of the time,

I am to lazy to get up and get the camera but

by then I am sure the moment would be over anyways,

she has also giggled- I love it!

The Lastest Dare

Trent dared Ethan that if he would drink three

swallow of the juice of yellow peppers (much like pickle juice)

he would give him 4 quarters. And because Ethan LOVES money...

Ethan really struggled getting the three swallows down and had to do it one at a time.

Addison chugged it and would have probably drank more had I not stopped her.

I missed Trent's final reaction but is was some what like Ethan's.

Can you believe that.

Sometimes I feel like Trent is more the big brother than the Dad,

we like to have good cheap fun at our house :)

Kallie Morgan Bauer

Here are a few pictures of our cute little Kallie. 7 lbs 1 oz 19 inches 8:03 am she has blue eyes- will see how long that lasts, quite a bit of dark hair, blonde eye lashes-not sure where that comes from, she loves to cuddle and eat and poop- in fact she pooped a ton as she was being pulled out, long big hands, and short fat feet. We are both doing great!!!

Ninja's

After Halloween Walmart was trying to get rid of there costumes so I got these ninja outfits for a dollar a piece. The kids love to dress up in them even though they are size 7-8. In the first picture they are suppose to be giving me a ninja pose and in the second on they are just standing there. I love to listen to them play when they have these costumes on, they are the good guys and they hunt for the bad guys. Addison is going to be such a tomboy.

Cowgirl

I have talk about Addison being a cowboy in the past, however she can only be a cowboy if she is wearing the cowboy had and now every time she wears the cowboy hat she wants pictures taken so her are a few of those pictures.
