The sun was actually shining today so I had the kids suit up and go out side to play. Ethan had been out for about a half hour before Addison made it out. I knew that Ethan was playing in the down spout but I had no idea that he was making mud. When Addison did go out the first thing I heard Ethan say to her was "I'm making mud, want to help" what child would turn that down?
Inside my head I thought "well they are only a kids once" so I didn't say anything.
But as soon as I heard that back door open I ran back to make sure that the mud didn't make it into the house. It look like they had a pretty good time, I was just grateful that it kept them busy for awhile :)

You are right they are only kids once. And they just had a wonderful time! I remember a few times we had some muddy days.
You are such a good mom. I would have probably made him stop, so I wouldn't have to clean it up.
I love days like this where the memories are great but the mess is not always best. It looks like they had a great time.
