Ethan's Birthday

On Ethan's actual birthday he got to open the present from his presents, most just because he really wanted a present and couldn't wait for his birthday party.

That Friday we had is birthday party- He invited 9 friends, all but one showed up, however one of the friends brought his little brother, which happens to be in Addison preschool class, so I would consider the party a FULL house. I hope everyone had a blast.

I tried to keep things moving.

As the kids showed up I had them make marshmallow creations. Which I then placed in front of the fireplace to dry a bit.

Then it was time for each guest to make there own pizza. This turned out a lot better than I thought it would. While the pizzas were cooking the party moved into the living room and they opened presents.

After that we brought the marshmallow creations and they got to paint them. Just as they were finishing up the last pizza were coming out of the oven. The timing was pretty good.

Instead of doing a birthday cake I thought it would be fun for the kids to decorate their own sugar cookies. There were sprinkles all over the place but that must show that they were having a good time. I was pleased to see that most of the pizzas and cookies were eaten.

I could have had one more activity plan but I just graped my preschool CD and we did a few songs until parents came. Ethan had a blast, I was glad that we were able to do this for him. He helps us out so much that it is good to do something for him just because we love him.

You put a lot of work into that party! And the children look very intent in the activities. Soo much fun for them. Ethan is a lucky young man.

Wow what a mom!! One activity that we had that I could see Ethan enjoy is making marshmellow guns then play target (or still the flag, if you get hit you have to go back to base and start over) We did it with Adam and his friends for a summer party. We had marshmellows everywhere.
