Christmas 2008

This was our first year staying at home for Christmas. Although we missed our families, it was fun to spend time together.

Ethan wrote a thank you note to Santa, I thought it was pretty cute, Santa left a note in return. Maybe next year we will leave food for the reindeer as well.

The kids loved opening presents. This year Addison just wanted to rip off the wrapping paper she didn't care what was in the box.

My mom made this really warm space blanket for Ethan, he loves it. We don't have very many small blankets at my house so I was glad to switch out a huge blanket for one that really fits his bed. Thanks mom.

I loved being able to have Ethan and Addison tell us in there own words what Christmas is all about. We also read them the Christmas story then we let them tell it by themselves, they really liked placing the figures where they thought they needed to be. Now that it is a new year I personally am looking forward to the beginning of March.

We have been so blessed and would like to extend our love to all of our friends and family!

You had a nice Christmas. Little kids make it so much fun. I am glad that the blanket fit his bed. I hope it keeps him warm. Thanks for posting the pictures. I did get to see the Merry Christmas on Matt's phone. It is always fun to hear their voices and yours.
