We love the Sun

Yesterday and today were wonderful sun shiny days. The sun warmed the earth and it reached the upper 40's. I was so thankful that Ethan and Addison were able to go outside and burn some energy. They had a blast and here our a few pictures of the moment.

We have been the same way. I know it isn't as cold here as it is there, but for us it has been cold. My kids have had colds, so the warmer temps have been so nice. Even though Ryker still has a cough, I had to let them go out and play. Ryker was getting to the point that he was driving me nuts. Every time someone would go out the door he would go stand by it and cry.

Man I can't wait for next week when we hit a high of 30 so my children can burn off some energy. My house is only so big and there are only so many places they can run. Stay warm!

This year for Christmas I made rice bags for everyone in the family. I made them out of fleece. Oddly enough the fleece feels damp after heating it. It must retain more of the steam than other material does. I never heard of it being put in a sock, that's a good idea. The kids do enjoy heating them up for the winter's nap.(bedtime)

You have to love the sunshine. When the students come in the door and it is time for lunch I have to ask how cold it is outside. The sun doesn't always warm it up. It warms the heart while it shines.
